Results Update

  • Lakshmi Energy & Foods: net profit rises 21.18% in the September 2009
  • Hindustan Unilever (HUL): net profit at Rs 430 crore versus Rs 550 crore on YoY basis.
  • Mcnally Bharat Engineering:net sales were at Rs 305 crore versus Rs 177 crore. Its net profit at Rs 3.6 crore versus Rs 3.2 crore.
  • Wockhardt: net sales at Rs 383.3 crore versus Rs 416.8 crore. Its net loss at Rs 59.1 crore versus net profit of Rs 13.4 crore.
  • Gujarat Heavy Chemicals (GHCL): net profit at Rs 20 crore versus Rs 26.1 crore. Its net sales at Rs 290 crore versus Rs 336 crore.
  • Eicher Motors: consolidated net profit at Rs 27.4 crore versus Rs 42.9 crore. consolidated net sales at Rs 856 crore versus Rs 491 crore.
  • Omaxe: consolidated net profit at Rs 22.51 crore versus Rs 20.38 crore on YoY basisconsolidated net sales at Rs 223.92 crore versus Rs 204.03 crore.
  • Unitech: net profit at Rs 178 crore versus Rs 157.8 crore on QoQ basis. Its net sales at Rs 509 crore versus Rs 540 crore on QoQ basis.
  • Reliance Infrastructure: net profit was at Rs 306.90 crore versus Rs 288.97 crore on YoY basis &  standalone net sales were at Rs 2,571.88 crore versus Rs 2,434.81 crore.
  • Hindustan Oil Exploration Company: net loss at 1.8Cr and net sales down at Rs 12.4 crore versus Rs 15 crore, QoQ.
  • Jindal Steel Power: consolidated net profit up at Rs 808.3 crore versus Rs 762.2 crore.
  • Temptation Foods: registered 22.45 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 10.15 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, over the same period last fiscal.
  • Alok Industries: net profit rose 26.18 per cent to Rs 57.11 crore as against Rs 45.26 crore in the year-ago period.  The company clocked net sales of Rs 974.79 crore, up 39.63 per cent as against Rs 698.14 crore in the year-ago period, a press release issued here said. Export sales stood at Rs 318.77 crore (Rs 261.16 crore), up 22.06 per cent.
  • Indian Hotels Company: posted a 76.56 per cent decline in profit after tax at Rs 11.87 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 on account of slowdown in travel trade. The total income of the company decreased to Rs 329.69 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, from Rs 399.44 crore a year ago.
  • Shipping Corporation of India: net profit down at 33.70Cr. and standalone net sales were down at Rs 844.94 crore versus Rs 1,184.65 crore.
  • State Bank of India (SBI): net porift rose by 10.18 per cent at  Rs 2,490 crore for the as against Rs 2,260 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
  • Godrej Industries: consolidated net profit up at Rs 66.7 crore versus Rs 19.4 crore.
